NightGlass is preparing for its first App Store release. This page describes the upcoming free-download edition and optional Lantern Trail unlock.
Begin with a little light
Choose Lantern Trail to explore 100 fixed puzzles in five chapters. Levels 1–20 in the first chapter are free. Place panes as instructed, then tap Cast. Clear the target to open the next level and return for up to three stars. The book button opens the level hint; every retry uses the same draw order.
Three Towers is a separate journey with nine windows, Night Market visits and spirit companions. The Glass Journal explains patterns and scoring.
Unlock levels 21–100 once
Download free and play the first 20 levels. Select a paid chapter to open the unlock screen. One non-consumable in-app purchase unlocks the remaining 80 levels. There are no ads or subscriptions. The US base price is $5.99; Apple's purchase sheet shows the current price for your region.
Buying requires a connection to Apple and confirmation in the system purchase sheet. Cancelled, pending or unavailable purchases leave the free levels playable; paid content opens after a valid transaction is verified. During pre-release testing, the live App Store product may not yet be available.
Restore a purchase
Connect to the internet, use the Apple Account that originally bought the unlock, and choose Restore Purchases on the unlock screen. Restoration restores paid access, not stars, scores or an unfinished game. Do not buy again just because progress is missing.
Free levels work offline. Offline paid access depends on existing purchase information the app can verify on your device. If access is missing, try restoring while online and contact us while keeping the app and its local progress intact. Refund requests go through https://reportaproblem.apple.com/ ; Apple determines eligibility under its terms and applicable consumer protections.
Keep progress safe
There is no game account or developer-operated cloud sync. Progress saves locally; deleting the app can remove that data. Three Towers can export and import JSON files, but those files do not include Lantern Trail stars. Lantern Trail currently has no manual export facility. Apple device backups are managed separately through your system settings.
An update that changes a level definition may discard an older unfinished attempt; earned stars remain. If a journey import fails, keep the original file, do not edit it or delete the app, and contact us with the error message.
Language, sound and sharing
Open the gear button > Language to choose English or 繁體中文. Automatic uses Traditional Chinese for Hong Kong or Taiwan storefronts and English elsewhere, falling back to device region if unavailable. Manual choice takes priority. System share and file dialogs follow iOS language. This behavior does not mean the app is sold in every such region.
Settings include music, sound effects, haptics and reduced motion. Audio also depends on system volume and silent mode; haptics depend on physical device support. Journey results can become share cards. You choose the system share, Save Image or Files action; the game does not read your photo library.
